Truck, Cargo, 2 1/2 ton, 6x6 M-35

The M-35 Cargo Truck is part of the G-742 (or M-44) series of 2 1/2 ton trucks. The many models of the very successful G-742 trucks were in Army inventory from the mid-1950s into the 1990s.

M35 2 1/2-ton 6x6 truck exits the Army Reserve Center, Naval Air Station, Los Alamitos, CA, as the 173rd Transportation Company transfers its vehicles to Fort Irwin, CA in support of Exercise Gallant Eagle '84, August 1984.  Trailer appears to be M-149 Water Trailer
