M-4 Sherman Tank
The M4, M4A1 through M4A6 Shermans had many variations including hull changes. different engines, various combinations of main gun and machine guns, as well as turret configurations. Most were equipped with a 75mm gun. Other variants were produced with a 76mm gun and fording capabilities. In 1944, a version of the M4 was produced with a 105mm main gun. The M4A3E8 "Easy Eight" with an improved high velocity 76mm gun was one of the most advanced versions and continued in use well into the 1950s.
The 31 ton M4 Sherman tank was 19 feet long and 9 feet in both width and height. It was capable of 26 mph.
