The web ring called MilBlogs is operated by military people to cover military issues. It is a source of fresh content unbiased by any media organization or other filter between you and reality. The MilBlogs concept was originated by Greyhawk at The Mudville Gazette, a habit you should get into.

She has created WW II style pin-up calendars, posters, T-shirts and other items featuring her own versions of Betty Grable and other famous pin-ups. Sales benefit hospitalized Veterans. Gina will personally deliver gift purchases when possible or will send them overseas to deployed troops.
Soldierlink.com is a website where troops deployed worldwide can have a home base to link up with their families. There are chat programs, blogs, a web forum discussion board, all a place to meet and have duscussion, or to use as a meeting platform to launch video conferencing or voice over IP programs. Also there are numerous related links laid out in an easy to browse manner.
Wreaths Across America was started in 1992 by Worcester Wreath with the donation and laying of 5000 Christmas wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery. The program got a big boost in 2005 when a photo of Arlington's stones adorned with wreaths and covered in snow generated national attention. In 2008, over 300 locations held wreath laying ceremonies in every state, Puerto Rico and 24 overseas cemeteries. Over 60,000 volunteers participate to place 100,000 wreaths on veteran's graves annually.
